Bulgaria's Kozloduy plant reconnects nuclear reactor after maintenance

SOFIA, Oct 29 (Reuters) – Bulgaria’s state nuclear power plant Kozloduy reconnected on Saturday its 1,000 megawatt (MW) nuclear reactor Unit 6 after a planned maintenance and refuelling, the plant said.

Kozloduy, situated at the Danube River, said in a statement that the nuclear reactor Rubbish Removal (Www.Wasteking.Co.Uk) was reconnected to the national power after a clearance by the country’s nuclear regulator.The reactor was shut for Rubbish Removal annual repairs on Sept. 24.

Its other 1,000 MW reactor, Skip Hire Unit 5, WEEE Waste, www.wasteking.co.uk, was working at full capacity, Rubbish Clearance the plant said. (Reporting by Tsvetelia Tsolova)
